Living Room of Creative style - research

This living room is inspired by the rich spicy colours, low - level furniture, sumptuous rugs and swirling wrought - iron work of a North - African home.

An innovative mix of berry shades and aqua blues have been blended to give this living room lots of colour and life. Sheer muslin curtains in a deep aqua diffuse a glow of colour into the room. The walls have been painted with blocks and strips of colour, too, to  create mini works of art, while accessories have been keep to a minimum to let the wall treatment sing out.

Warm harvest shades match the wooden floor in this room and emphasise its sunny feel. A large collection of china and stuffed teddy bears gives it a quirky, homely feel, while reinstated original features are reminds of the house's Victorian heritage.

White walls team with black and blue tones, elegant furniture in wood and metal, and patterned tiles for a look that's inspired by North - African style.
