Living Room of Contemporary Style - research

Rich, spicy colours join forces with natural elements here. A timbered floor against a neutral background, accessories in hot tones and a sweep of orange in the curtains and artwork give the whole room a rich glow.

This room has lots of natural light and beautiful original features so a pales, modern scheme suits it perfectly. Shelves and storage keep clutter under control, leaving space for decorative extras that give the room tons of sophisticated personality.

This room is very simply decorated with warm, natural colours, but a few clever details and inventive touches give it plenty of personality and help every corner and space work hard.

A fresh, spring  - like feel makes this room cheerful and bright. Big windows allow lots of natural light to flood in, while the mix of aquamarine walls, pretty floral cushions and curtains and the lilac sofa creates an inviting and invigorating atmosphere.

A cool sense of order, a pared down but bold colour scheme and a touch  of drama characterize this living room. Crisp, clean lines, strong shades and lots of contemporary accessories give it smart style.

There's an organic look to this living room. Like nature, it's all about contrasts - natural textiles in wool, wicker and leader blend with simple woods, while green accents freshen up a colour scheme of mineral hues.

Pale yellow is teamed with white and cream for a fresh but easy - to - live - with look. Plenty of natural materials and weathered wood give it warmth while a tall chest of drawers ensures clutter is kept under control.
